Greetings from the Hammitt family! In 2013, we left a successful career in engineering to serve full-time in missionary aviation. Aaron is a pilot, flight instructor, and mechanic with an FAA inspection authorization, and our heart's desire is to use these skills for the furtherance of the Gospel. Though we have devoted many years to aviation, we recognize that it is only a tool to help reach the nations for Jesus Christ. 

We chose Planes with Purpose as the name for our web site, blog, and newsletter because of our focus on missionary aviation. However, it's not the airplanes or the flying itself that really motivates our family. Here's our vision in a nutshell.
