Aaron has earned his commercial pilot certificate and completed his initial flight and maintenance training. In December 2018 we will visit a ministry in Bolivia, and we are still corresponding with a few other organizations to determine where our family will fit into the larger missionary aviation community. We appreciate your prayers for wisdom and guidance concerning which of these field programs is right for our family.
Our plan is for our children to finish the school year in North Carolina, and we hope to move overseas as early as summer 2019. In the meantime there are several things we can be doing to prepare: language study, Bible education, further flight training, and more. Most of these require a time commitment and a financial investment, so we are trusting the Lord to provide as He sees fit.
As we prepare for our overseas assignment, we are in need of additional financial and prayer support. It's easy to focus on the finances, but we have observed the battles that so many people face when going to the mission field, and we can't underestimate the need for faithful prayer partners. If you would consider partnership in our ministry, please take a few moments to learn about how you can get involved.
